General Membership Classes

Adults and teens 10+ train taekwondo together in Aspire’s general membership classes in Norton Shores. One $120/month membership covers those classes plus kickboxing and Tai Chi.

What age is general membership taekwondo for?

Ten and up. Kids 5–9 belong in Lil Dragons. This is the path for middle school, high school, and adults.

Can a complete beginner start at 30 or 40?

Yes. Classes mix beginners with experienced students. Instructors scale drills. You do not need prior karate or taekwondo. The free two-week trial is how you test that before you pay.

What do you actually do in class?

Kicking, forms, partner work, and self-defense — Kukkiwon / USA Taekwondo / AAU aligned. It is not a kids-only room and not a fight-team MMA class.

Want pads and cardio more than belts? Add Monday/Wednesday kickboxing on the same membership.

How much does it cost, and is there a trial?

$120 per month plus $25 per year. That fee includes multiple weekly classes. Details live on Membership Options.

Where do we train if we live in Muskegon or Grand Haven?

One floor: 928 E Broadway Ave, Norton Shores. There is not a second general-membership location. Military and law-enforcement discounts are on the membership page.
